The process for valve reconditioning and repairing is as follows:
- Take Delivery of Valve
- Cleaning Valve body
- Diagnosis of Problem
- Strip down of valve
- Identification of Problem
- design authority to issue instructions
- Pull original Shipham drawings
- Manufacture required parts to drawings
- Assemble fixed valve
- Test Valve leakage and operation
- Produce Paperwork
- Despatch Repaired/Reconditioned Valve to Customer
Experience
We have an extensive stock of patterns and drawings allowing us to manufacture specialist replacement parts. The in house technical experience to diagnose valve faults and the ability to fit and assemble replacement parts.
Valve Scheduled Servicing
- Arrange with customer, location and valve details
- Produce Service Kit Specific to valve drawing
- Perform Service of Valve (including strip down)
- Test serviced Valve operation
- Produce Paperwork
Valve Training
We also offer a training service on how to fit, strip and replace serviceable valve components. This is usually offered at the customer’s site. We also can provide operator and maintenance manuals (please contact sales@shipham-valves.com for price and availability)
